11/13/2009 - Announcement - Whetsell Energy is in the final stages of negotiations for securing a $25 million loan with a sovereign wealth fund to build a 250 thousand ton wood pellet plant in South Carolina.


12/09/2008 - Announcement - Whetsell Energy has picked Chinese Tallow Tree seeds for the first time commercially in the south for at least 75 years. The person in the bucket is Shaky Rogers. The trees are in Lexington, South Carolina. We were rained out in about 2 hours.






10/26/2008 - Announcement - Whetsell Energy is working with Clemson University and the University of Georgia to study the Chinese Tallow Tree. We are looking at all the properties of the seed. We are ckecking it for: biofuels, human, animal, poultry food and any other uses.

10/25/2008 - Announcement - Whetsell Energy is seeking help from farmers, landowners and goverment lands to find large concentrations of Chinese Tallow Trees that we can harvest.

10/24/2008 - Announcement - Whetsell Energy is working with some Venture Capital firms to harvest chinese tallow seed in large quanties in the 9 Southern Coastal States for the production of biodiesel and feed. Our hope is to get funding to cultivate chinese tallow trees to help solve this Nation's energy problems.

10/23/2008 - Announcement - Whetsell Energy has received a ruling to bring jatropha from Cameroon, Africa to the United States to produce biodiesel.

10/22/2008 - Announcement - Whetsell Energy is forming a partnership with Agro Energy Holdings, a company from the Ukraine, which has an office in Bay Harbor Island, Florida on projects involving pyrolysis and the production of algae for biofuels.
